Blog Post: Day 1

I survived 24 hours! Ha. Really not that hard at all.  I did however think of chocolate most of the day.  It’s a mental thing, chocolate and work go hand in hand, and knowing I can’t have any just made me want it that much more.  And wine.  I found myself craving wine during dinner prep…I haven’t even had any wine in several weeks, but tonight I wanted it like crazy!  Anyways, I survived.

Breakfast was a kale & pineapple smoothie with coconut water & a teaspoon of coconut oil.

Lunch was a big salad with Tesseme dressing

I did stuff my coat pocket with 4 brazil nuts and a hard boiled egg as I was running out the door to head back to work after lunch.  Like literally stuffed my pocket as I was running around looking for my shoes.

Dinner was surprisingly delish.   Vegetable (sweet potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes & cashews) curry over plain cauliflower rice and a side of kale chips.  (recipes coming soon)

Day 1 Success!  Only 29 more to go.  Fingers crossed baby girl lets me get my 7-9 hours of sleep tonight.
